Home School: In-Home Dog Training That Works (Without the Stress)

Training your dog can be time-consuming, frustrating, and—let’s be honest—not everyone’s idea of fun. We believe every dog deserves great training—even if their humans are short on time or interest.

With our Home School service, a professional trainer comes to your home and does the heavy lifting for you. You don’t need to rearrange your schedule or become a dog training expert—we’ve got it covered.

How In-Home Dog Training Works:

We come to your home.

Your dog learns in their own environment, where they’re most comfortable.

We do the training.

You don’t need to be there for every session. Go about your day while we handle the work.

You get the results.

Once the foundational training is complete, we’ll guide you through a few final steps to maintain and reinforce the progress.

Beginner Behavior
Package

Ideal for dogs and puppies who have multiple behaviors they need to work on, leash reactive dogs, dogs who take longer to warm up to new people, or dogs who need help feeling comfortable with grooming / medical handling.

  • (16) 1-hour long Home School Training Sessions (4× a week for 4 weeks)

Basic Manners
Package

This package is ideal for adolescent and adult dogs who have no fear or aggression issues, and who need to work on a few typical behaviors like walking nicely on leash, sit/down/stay, recall, and more.

  • (9) 1-hour long Home School Training Sessions (3× a week for 3 weeks)

Puppy Socialization
Package

For puppies younger than 5 months old, who need opportunities to be socialized properly with new places, people, and animals.

  • (4) 90-minute long Field Trips (2× a week for 2 weeks)
  • (2) 1-hour long Home School Training Sessions (1× a week for 2 weeks)

Scheduling Policy

Scheduling your package sessions ahead of time and using them within the time limit will benefit you and your dog.

  • By scheduling ahead of time, you are prioritizing your dog’s training and are more likely to schedule around their sessions, ensuring you make time for them each week.
  • This will result in more consistent training in a shorter time frame, giving you quicker results and therefore more bang for your buck!
  • When we try to squeeze our dog’s training into our busy lives week by week, we end up putting it aside for other engagements, push sessions back farther and farther, and then end up working on the same behaviors at each session, because your dog has not had enough consistent practice at a consistent rate to be able to move on to the more difficult levels of training.
  • Booking ahead of time and sticking with it may seem like a big commitment now, but will end up saving you time and money in the long run!
